Overview: We are looking for a creative and motivated Junior Landscape Designer to join our team. Key Responsibilities:
Design & Development:
- Design Collaboration: Work closely with senior landscape designers and project managers to develop design concepts and solutions for a variety of projects.
- Drafting & Documentation: Prepare landscape design drawings, plans, and renderings using AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Site Planning & Research: Assist in analyzing site conditions and researching sustainable design practices to support innovative design solutions.
- Presentation & Client Support: Help prepare presentation materials and participate in client meetings to ensure clear communication of design ideas.
Project Coordination:
- Project Assistance: Support project managers by tracking project timelines, deliverables, and budgets.
- Consultant Coordination: Assist in coordinating with consultants and stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
- Field Work: Participate in occasional site visits to gather information and ensure the design vision is implemented during construction.
Studio Support:
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the team in a collaborative environment, supporting project needs while enhancing your own skill set.

Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited university.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in landscape design.
- Technical Skills: High proficiency with AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), and Microsoft Office. Experience with other 3D modeling software and plug-ins is a plus.
- Design Thinking: Strong understanding of design principles, with the ability to think both creatively and strategically.
- Sustainable Design: Knowledge of sustainable design practices and enthusiasm for environmentally responsible design solutions.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in working with internal team members and clients.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail in both design and project coordination.
- Problem-Solving: Energetic and proactive attitude with a passion for solving design challenges.
- Team Player: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
