Chanelle is passionate about relating to the world around her and enjoys being able to give back to both nature and people alike. She believes that through landscape architecture, designers are uniquely positioned to improve people’s quality of life and relate them to their surroundings. Internships she held while studying at Michigan State University focused her passions on high-end residential design and ecological restoration and she is currently on a Land Preservation Advisory Board, working in tandem to remove invasive plants at local land preserves.
She is a Michigander but loves the architecture and abundance of parks and green spaces in Chicago. Being a Canadian dual citizen, she also appreciates the proximity to her family in Quebec. Chanelle also enjoys gardening, cooking, board games, video games, and spending time with her two cats.
