Dustin Gautreaux
Associate

Born and raised in Louisiana, Dustin stayed true to his Southern roots by attending Mississippi State University. Curiosity led him to a major in Landscape Architecture and his first project in Mississippi’s Starkville Cotton District. He’s been hooked ever since.

With over 13 years in the industry, Dustin has traveled the country working on projects from Los Angeles to El Paso, up to Minneapolis, and everywhere in between. Multiple visits to Chicago and the desire to be surrounded by more industry experts, along with the inevitable magnetic pull of the big city, sparked his move north and ultimately to Hoerr Schaudt. As part of the firm’s Construction Administration team, Dustin provides insight into the constructability of different site elements, procures material, manages contractors, and liaises between clients and the various trades.

Dustin cites nature’s proven ability to positively impact mental health as one of his favorite parts of the industry. He embraces the opportunity to create public spaces that genuinely benefit individuals and the community. Dustin is a dedicated husband and father outside of the office and loves spending time making new memories with his family.
