Eric is most interested in imagining how designed spaces can connect people from different walks of life to foster a shared cultural meaning and value. His undergraduate studies in graphic design and political communications, and his non-profit work in Washington DC, led him to landscape architecture. His focus was to find a profession where he could help create change by working at a local scale with a systems focus.
Through his master’s program in Urban Planning at MIT, he expanded his understanding of the need for thoughtful landscape design to create equitable spaces. Eric also earned a second master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from Harvard University.
Eric enjoys reading fiction, and he is currently attempting to collect and read every issue of The Paris Review released since its founding in 1953.
