Growing up near a river, James has always been fascinated by the movement of water and how it can affect the landscape around it. As a kid he would experiment with water diversion and his passion for shaping and creating environments followed him as he got older. His first job was in landscape maintenance, and he found his calling in Landscape Architecture while in college.
James is most excited by the opportunity to build ecosystems that support biodiversity. He believes that by creating natural habitats that can continue to grow, he is able to contribute to a better, greener, future. James’ favorite memories are visiting past installations and hearing how families have developed a closer relationship with nature because of his designs.
