John creates and advocates for experiences that promote environmental equity and foster meaningful human-nature connections, through projects that strive to elicit a childlike sense of awe, wonder, and joy. With a storyteller’s approach, he creates multi-sensory experiences, structures, master plans, objects and infrastructure where we live, work and play.... places people want to be a part of, that bring us together and connect us to the world. He collaborates with and leads teams in the areas of design, project management and studio coordination. Working in the realms of landscape architecture, urban design, ecology, and architecture, he is a problem solver and maker who prioritizes projects with the greatest positive social, emotional, and ecological impacts.

When he’s not creating a better world for all to thrive, you’ll find John building his next 1960’s hot rod, traveling the world, and laughing with family & friends.
