An anomaly among most landscape architects (and plants, for that matter), Joshua is not a huge fan of the sun. Rather, he’s always felt happiest under overcast midwestern skies. In fact, it’s one of the reasons he loves Chicago – that and the fact that the city was a travel destination for him and his family growing up. Always fascinated with the built environment, Josh absorbed everything he could when he’d visit from his hometown in Ohio. He attributes his interest in landscape architecture to his early exposure to the integrated urbanity, design, and environmentalism found throughout the city.
