Julie Sajtar
Principal

Heavily influenced by her education in the fine arts, Julie is passionate about creative problem solving. Through her background in painting, she has achieved a high level of understanding in both the practical and imaginative solutions needed in landscape architecture. She loves projects that require both research and creativity, and allow clients to think outside the box.

Julie collaborates with clients and multidisciplinary teams to deliver site-responsive planting designs that are client-centric, ecologically sensitive, and promote long-term stewardship. She leads the design and implementation of bespoke planting solutions that address key questions such as: how to set up a landscape to thrive, create planting strategies that relate to and enhance the existing environment, and design landscapes connected to both human and ecological function. Her approach is rooted in the belief that planting design should not only be beautiful, but should also foster resilient, meaningful connections between people and the places they inhabit.
