Kiona is one of our 2022 summer interns who is currently pursuing her graduate degree in landscape architecture at Kansas State University. She was drawn to the industry for its ability to make an impact at all scales, providing a way to create spaces for the public to enjoy while also having the ability to impact the environment positively. With a desire to help both people and ecology, landscape architecture simply made sense as the perfect path for Kiona to pursue her passions.
You can often find this avid sports follower watching her favorite teams and listening to sports shows. She’s also happiest when sipping a vanilla black tea (with honey!) while curled up with a good book—one of her favorites: “The Nightingale” by Kristin Hannah.
