Lauren’s experience working at an engineering firm exposed her to a broad range of projects, each with its own unique set of lessons that she was committed to learning. It was here that Lauren began harboring a staunch appreciation for the challenges and opportunities that are present within each project, whether it be a public park or a residential garden.

Lauren was born and raised outside of Richmond, Virginia, and received a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. An insatiable hiker and backpacker, she feels most like herself when she is outdoors exploring new places. Since moving to Chicago, Lauren has enjoyed the city’s ‘many museums and parks, and is taking full advantage of the diverse restaurant scene.
