A lifelong proponent of social justice, design, and environmental stewardship, Rachel learned in college that the practice of landscape architecture combines all three. After earning a Bachelor of Arts in sociology and anthropology, she went on to pursue a Master of Landscape Architecture where she developed a love of community-focused projects. Though she relished her time working on a macadamia nut farm in Hawaii, Rachel is happy to have moved to Chicago to work at Hoerr Schaudt, where being beside another great lake makes her feel like her hometown of Ann Arbor is not that far.
