Raul has been passionate about nature since he was a kid. While working at a garden center during college, his manager named him as her right-hand man to help landscape clients’ gardens. It was here where he fell in love with the design aspect of landscaping in the field—especially when seeing a client’s reaction during the final reveal.

This Southern native, hailing from Houston, Texas, and Lafayette, Louisiana, was drawn to Chicago for its scenery and (believe it or not) four seasons. Here, you’ll often find him exploring the city, trying new restaurants, and going to a concert. His love for the outdoors also extends into his world outside of the office, where he enjoys spending time camping, hiking, and traveling. One of his most memorable trips to date? Acadia National Park in Maine for its stunning views and incredible hikes.
