Todd Degner
Associate Principal

Todd brings over two decades of expertise in landscape construction and nursery management, along with his credentials as a Master Arborist. Raised in southwest Michigan, Todd always aspired to live and work in Chicago, the city he admired from across Lake Michigan. His passion for nurturing the landscape was sparked early on by his mother and grandmother, who taught him the art of plant care.

Initially pursuing a path in ministry, Todd shifted his focus after graduation, finding his calling in creating therapeutic landscapes—a form of ministry in its own right. He believes deeply in the healing power of nature, whether through carefully crafted gardens or the wild, untamed outdoors.

Throughout his career, Todd has served as a trusted advisor to landscape architects across the eastern U.S., gaining valuable experience and insights while continuing to champion the restorative connection between people and nature.
