The Junior HR Generalist supports day-to-day human resources operations and assists with a variety of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits, employee records, and HR administration. The role reports to the Director of Human Resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with recruitment activities, including posting job ads, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating hiring processes
- Support onboarding and offboarding activities to ensure a smooth employee experience
- Support the update of employee records in HR systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Respond to employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and procedures
- Assist with benefits administration and HR documentation
- Assist with the performance management processes, including performance review cycle coordination and documentation
- Help organize training sessions, employee engagement activities, and HR initiatives
- Ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations under guidance from Director of HR.
- Prepare reports and assist with HR data tracking as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in HR
- Basic knowledge of HR practices and employment laws
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize daily workload
- Discretion and confidentiality
- Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Internship or entry-level experience in HR or administration
- Familiarity with Paylocity or other HRIS systems
- Interest in developing a long-term career in Human Resources

Additional Information:
- Work Environment: Monday through Friday 8:30-5:30 with an hour for lunch/breaks.

- Salary: Range is $60,000-75,000; the offer will be based on experience, skills and background in similar positions.
