March 25, 2026 - Wabi Sabi House in Palm Springs, California, is featured in the latest issue of MANERA Mexico, including a full Home Tour feature and its floor plan in the magazine’s “Planta Principal” section. PDFs are available via Dropbox.
A four-year collaboration between Jill Lewis Architecture + Design, Hoerr Schaudt, and developer Jameson Neuhoff, the residence responds intimately to its desert surroundings. Set at the base of Chino Canyon atop three concrete pedestals, the home emerges naturally from the terrain.
Jill Lewis designed the house with careful attention to sun, wind, and topography, while a glass bridge over a rocky arroyo connects public and private spaces, suspending occupants above the landscape. Hoerr Schaudt’s Wabi-Sabi-inspired landscape complements the architecture, using native plants, local materials, and regenerative water strategies to create a site that feels timeless and intentional.
