Caleb Hadley
Designer I

Caleb is a landscape designer whose connection to the natural world began in the prairies, rivers, and woodlands of the western suburbs of Chicago. He earned his undergraduate degree in Biology, Society, and the Environment from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, where he discovered landscape architecture as a field that united his interests in ecology, design, and environmental stewardship. This led him back to Chicago to complete a Master of Landscape Architecture and Urbanism at the Illinois Institute of Technology. Before joining Hoerr Schaudt, he worked as an intern and later as a Landscape Designer at Pamela Self Landscape Architecture. A formative early experience included contributing to a replica of Aldo Leopold’s cabin for an art installation in the Wisconsin Driftless Region, which deepened his appreciation for hands-on craft and ecologically rooted design.

Caleb is most passionate about ecological restoration and the opportunity to advance resilient, site-responsive design. Outside of work, he enjoys playing guitar, cooking, reading, and exercising.
