Drawn to Chicago’s vibrant energy and commitment to public spaces, she found a career that merges her technical and artistic skills with a love for the natural world. Ellen is passionate about eco-driven design strategies and blending local ecology through creativity and sustainability Whether sketching outdoors, reading about native plants, or experimenting with artistic mediums like printmaking, she’s always exploring new ways to merge science with design to enhance the environment.
