A California native, Emma came to Chicago to study multimedia journalism at Loyola University Chicago and quickly found a lasting sense of belonging in the city. She was drawn to its architectural character, cultural depth, changing seasons, and the native ecologies of the broader Midwest. Over time, Chicago became more than the place where she began her career; it became home. She is proud to help tell the story of a practice so deeply rooted in Chicago.
Drawing on a background in technical writing, creative storytelling, and strategic brand positioning, Emma brings a research-driven perspective to the firm’s marketing team. Her experience building brand relevance through digital strategy informs how she distills complex ideas, identifies the most resonant aspects of a project, and translates design thinking for varied audiences. She works closely with design teams to articulate the histories, intentions, and ideas that distinguish each landscape. Her approach is guided by intellectual curiosity, editorial rigor, and a belief that thoughtful communication can deepen the connection between a project, its makers, and the people who experience it.
