Gabriela Damiecka
Co-op Intern

Gabriela's path to landscape architecture began with a chance stop at Purdue University's Landscape Architecture table during a campus visit. What started as an interest in engineering quickly shifted after discovering a profession that blended creativity, science, and the natural world. Today, she's pursuing a degree in landscape architecture with a minor in urban forestry at Purdue University while gaining hands-on experience as a Co-op Intern in Hoerr Schaudt's Chicago office.

Gabriela is inspired by the way thoughtful design can tell stories through planting, materials, topography, and the history of a place. She enjoys creating landscapes that connect people to their surroundings while balancing science, art, and ecology. Outside of work, you'll likely find her drawing, hiking, sailing, or exploring thrift stores with friends. She also volunteers with Friends of Grand Rapids Parks and is always happy to spend time near Lake Michigan whenever she can.
