Grace’s lifelong connection to the outdoors began in her family’s garden and grew through years spent exploring nature, creating art, and working in the green industry. Originally from Granger, Indiana, she gained early hands-on experience at a local garden center, where she eventually supported small-scale residential design projects. While completing her studies, she also worked as a landscape design intern with a residential firm on Chicago’s North Shore. Drawn to landscape architecture as a natural intersection of art and the environment, Grace is especially interested in ecological restoration and the role design can play in strengthening living systems.
Outside the studio, Grace enjoys baking, reading, watercolor, embroidery, running, and long walks accompanied by music.
