Jasmine brings over five years of landscape architecture knowledge to our team, plus some additional work experience in international architectural and design practices. While volunteering on a community center in rural China, where she was exposed to user-participatory design and vernacular materials, Jasmine became interested in how you can weave nature into the built environment to create public spaces for the community. She is passionate about turning the constraints of a site into its strength and seeing an intuitive design concept through from inception to completion.
Jasmine is originally from Hong Kong, where she was chartered under The Hong Kong Institute of Landscape Architects (HKILA) and licensed under the Landscape Architect Registration Board (LARB). She has lived in Japan and Beijing and now calls Chicago home. Outside of the office, she’s happy when gathered with friends and family around a hearty—preferably vegetarian—meal. Jasmine stays active by practicing yoga and swimming, and also enjoys tapping into her creative side by drawing and helping friends with graphic design projects.
