Leila’s lifepath has already taken her around the globe; she grew up in Paris, studied in Northern France, and worked in Belgium and Australia before coming to the United States. Amongst her travels, she has spent time mining, cutting, and polishing gemstones in the Australian Outback, and has hiked through the rainforest of Bali. Leila’s love for plants, public spaces, and a genuine desire to improve people’s quality of life led her into the landscape architecture industry.

Leila is now based in Chicago, where she’s happy to be in a large metropolis surrounded by world-renowned architecture and parks. As part of our Siteworks team, she assists with material specifications, drawing set review and analysis, and plant material procurement for projects across the country.

When she’s not immersed in a planting project with our team, she finds joy in live music, dancing, and swimming. Next up on her to-do list? She hopes to tackle learning to sail.
