With over two decades of experience in landscape design, Michael has a distinguished track record of leading prestigious projects of all scales, spanning institutional, municipal, and residential sectors across the U.S. and internationally. 

As a Principal and senior project leader, Michael has overseen several high-profile projects. He is known for his ability to navigate complex design challenges while maintaining a clear focus on enhancing urban open spaces, infrastructure, and education. His leadership ensures projects move smoothly from concept through completion, while his communication skills foster strong, lasting relationships with clients and team members alike. Michael is dedicated to elevating the relationship between people and nature through innovative, science-driven solutions. 

In addition to his design and leadership roles, Michael is a recognized thought leader in the field. Since 2017, he has served as an adjunct professor at the Illinois Institute of Technology, sharing his expertise with the next generation of landscape architects.
