As a Partner at Hoerr Schaudt, Nick moves complex projects through each phase of the design process, from concept and budgeting to coordinating the design team and consultants. His vast portfolio includes residential, commercial, corporate and civic clients. Nick is valued for his ability to both conceptualize and detail practical, creative solutions to some of the firm’s more challenging design problems.

Nick’s responsibilities include concept design, site planning, guiding projects through permit processes, and managing schedule and budgets for projects from early design through construction observation. His excellent technical skills and ability to manage projects efficiently translate into cost-effective and timely projects for the firm’s clients.

Nick has led significant projects at the firm, including Baltimore Peninsula, a multi-use development that is one of the largest urban revitalizations currently underway in the world, with over 40 acres of parks and green space. His other projects include the World Food Prize Foundation Garden, a 60-acre residential property in Rhode Island, and a 16-acre landscape restoration at a historic residence by Howard van Doren Shaw.

His expertise includes:

  • Large-scale sites that range from residential estates to big-picture land planning.
  • Nearly a decade of team leadership on large, complex projects.
  • Deep experience managing schedule and budgets for projects from early design through construction observation.
