Paulina grew up in Chicago and has always been drawn to how design can shape an experience — how a space, message, or object can feel different once someone has intentionally crafted it. After beginning her career in the A/E/C industry, she spent almost a decade abroad in Mexico City working in the same field before returning home to Chicago.

What energizes her most is the challenge of translating built work into clear stories that reveal its intention. One of her favorite memories is watching a project she supported in Mexico City move from groundbreaking to handover and seeing people begin to use the space for the first time. That moment when something imagined becomes real is what keeps her hooked.
