Sean grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma exploring remnant woods and creeks and obsessing over Lego and old maps. Some combination of these interests would lead him to a career in landscape architecture. As his curiosity for outdoor spaces grew, so did the joy he felt working with and learning about plants. Sean will soon celebrate his tenth anniversary of living in Kansas City, which will also be his tenth year working as a landscape architect. He’s excited to continue channeling all of the things he enjoys into his profession: conceptual thinking, plants and ecology, and people-oriented space-making.

When he’s not working, you can find Sean exploring local parks and cafes, spending quality time with his family, and curating the perfect playlist, just like he did back in college as a radio show DJ.
